Description

Handwritten cards are extra special, especially when written on these beautifully crafted cards.

The designs are charming, colorful, modern yet simple. Not too subtle, not too bold, but filled with delightful surprises. They are just... perfect.

And here is a big surprise. The texture feels like Japanese handcrafted washi paper, but it's actually made from upcycled cotton waste from garment manufacturers, then hand screen-printed. Turning scraps into fine paper with a purpose. Recycled cotton paper is as durable as it is beautiful, and most importantly, it's beneficial for our planet.

The set includes 3 blank cards (2.75 x 4”), with matching patterns on the other side and envelopes.

*Due to the handmade nature of the paper and printing, thickness, size, and colors can vary slightly from batch to batch. Any imperfections in the paper are inherent to its handmade nature.

Designed in San Francisco by the amazing Japanese designer Hiroko Kato, and handmade in India.

Hataguchi Collective

Hataguchi Collective, founded by Hiroko, is a brand inspired by traditional artisanship and a commitment to sustainability. After discovering a group of paper artisans in India who transformed old cotton garments into handmade paper, Hiroko envisioned a brand that would honor her grandmother's family name while providing modern, eco-friendly paper products. The collective uses up-cycled cotton waste from garment manufacturers to create durable, beautiful paper that encourages the art of handwritten communication.
