Description:

This milk pan, designed by the pioneer of Japanese industrial design, Sori Yanagi, is packed with numerous thoughtful details within its simplicity.

The Bakelite handle not only adds a warm look but is also shaped for easy gripping.

The distinctive spouts protruding from both sides, catering to both right and left-handed users, ensure no drips when pouring soup or straining water, providing excellent draining performance. The reason lies in the slight outward curve of the rim when viewed from the side.

Matching the small circle on the lid to the handle closes the pan completely. By shifting the lid slightly off-center, a gap forms between the lid and the body, allowing for adjustments of steam to be released.

Made of durable 18-8 stainless steel.

Perfect for brewing chai, cooking small amounts or making baby food.

Sori Yanagi

Sori Yanagi was a pioneer of Japanese industrial design, known for blending functionality with beauty. His timeless designs, which range from kitchenware to large-scale public installations, embody the concept of "beauty in utility"—a philosophy influenced by his father, Soetsu Yanagi, a leader in the Mingei (folk craft) movement. Sori Yanagi's works, from the 1950s to the 60s, have garnered international acclaim for their simple yet warm aesthetics, rooted in both modernism and Japanese craftsmanship.
