Crafted from the fine fibers of the shuro (palm) tree bark, the Shuro Tawashi Brush carries a rich history as the original material used when Kamenoko Tawashi first invented the tawashi.
Each brush is handmade by skilled artisans at a workshop in Wakayama, where only the best parts of the fiber are carefully selected to suit the size and intended use of the brush. The thin yet strong shuro fibers provide a perfect balance of strength and flexibility, allowing them to reach into tight spaces and lift away dirt with ease. The natural oils in the fibers help repel water, allowing the brush to dry quickly after use.
Ideal for cleaning wooden cutting boards, non-stick pans, enamel, and stainless steel surfaces, it’s also gentle enough for washing vegetables and dusting or polishing baskets and other delicate items. A versatile and timeless tool for any kitchen.

Note: When using it for coated surfaces, avoid scrubbing too hard as the wire may cause scratches.
