Shoyeido Kyo Incense

Made in Kyoto by Shoyeido, a family-run incense maker with more than 300 years of history, the Kyo Incense collection offers a beautiful range of traditional Japanese fragrances. Each blend has its own distinct character, crafted from aromatic woods, herbs, and spices.

Kyozakura (Cherry Blossoms)
Fresh and elegant, Kyozakura is inspired by Kyoto in cherry blossom season. Rhubarb brings a pleasantly tart note, balanced by clove, cinnamon, and other herbs and spices. A subtle roasted note gives way to the soft sweetness of sandalwood, creating a fragrance that feels bright yet gently warm.

Nokiba (Moss Garden)
One of Shoyeido’s longtime favorites, Nokiba is earthy, warm, and quietly comforting. Sandalwood and patchouli are softened by the gentle sweetness of benzoin, creating a smooth fragrance with a calm, lingering presence.

Kyonishiki (Kyoto Autumn Leaves)
Inspired by the autumn colors of Kyoto’s Arashiyama district, Kyonishiki blends warm cinnamon with smooth sandalwood. Gently spicy and woody, it captures the cozy, contemplative feeling of a crisp fall day.
