Furoshiki Gift Wrapping Workshop at Fumi 2026

Our Furoshiki Wrapping Workshop is back at Fumi for the holiday season!

Join us for an early evening exploring the art of furoshiki, the Japanese tradition of wrapping with cloth. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple and beautiful ways to wrap gifts using fabric squares that can be enjoyed and reused long after the holidays.

We’ll explore several techniques, including basic wraps, bag wraps, flower knots, bottle wraps, and more. Each offers a thoughtful way to wrap gifts for the holidays and beyond.

We’re delighted to return to Fumi, a beautiful space that shares much of the same spirit as okappa: a love for aesthetics with integrity, joy in everyday life, and genuine connection.
