Ceramic Pitcher 14 oz
Ceramic Pitcher 14 oz

Crafted by Yoshihiro Nanao, a potter inspired by the mingei tradition of Japanese folk crafts, these pitchers reflect his philosophy. As Nanao himself says, "Every day, I craft pottery with the hope of creating warm pieces that bring comfort and beauty to everyday life."
The soft white cream glaze, accented by a rich brown rim, offers a warm, inviting feel. The handle, complete with a small finger rest, adds a simple yet charming touch that’s as functional as it is welcoming.
These pitchers come in two designs: one with delicate polka dots, applied using the traditional Japanese technique icchin, where clay slip is gently dripped onto the surface, and another with classic white stripes. The playful polka dots and timeless stripes each offer their own unique charm. The kannyu, the decorative crackle pattern in the glaze, further enhances the beauty of these pieces.
With a capacity of 14–15 oz, these pitchers pour and drain smoothly, as tested. They also make a beautiful statement on the table, whether used as pitchers or vases.
