Description

Made in Hasami, Japan, this semi-porcelain rice bowl feels both familiar and special. The soft, off-white clay has a gentle warmth, and the blue hand-painted patterns—whether Bold Circle, Chrysanthemum, or Hemp Leaf—add a quiet charm that invites daily use. The rim is finished with an iron-colored line, giving the bowl a grounded, balanced look.

It’s small but comfortably deep, with straight sides that rise from a tall foot—easy to hold, even when filled with steaming rice or soup. The slight thickness keeps heat from your hands, and the smooth glaze makes cleanup simple.

Microwave- and dishwasher-safe, it’s the kind of bowl you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again, whether it’s just you at the table or a full house.

Note: Each bowl is hand-painted, so the expression and depth of color in the patterns will vary, giving every piece its own personality. Tiny specks in the clay or glaze are part of the material’s natural character, not flaws. Because each one is crafted by hand, size and weight may differ slightly from the listed measurements—part of what makes them feel alive.
