Holiday Furoshiki Wrapping Workshop

Join us for a late afternoon of tea, cookies, and the art of furoshiki — the Japanese tradition of wrapping with cloth. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple and beautiful ways to wrap gifts for the season using fabric squares that can be reused.

We’ll explore several techniques, including basic wraps, bag wraps, flower knots, bottle wraps, and more — perfect for holiday gifting and everyday use.

We’re honored to host our first workshop at Fumi, a beautiful space that has opened recently and shares much of the same spirit as okappa — a love for aesthetics with integrity, joy in everyday life, and genuine connection.
