The Japanese favorite sponge, Nagamochi Sunsun Sponge, fits in this holder perfectly :)

Dishwasher safe for the wire but not the suction cup.

If the suction cup does not adhere well, soaking it in water at around 176-185°F for 5-6 minutes after washing it thoroughly with detergent (especially on the adhesive surface) may soften the resin and restore its suction performance.
